The Golden Eyes is our iconic design from our very first collection. It was so named for the two pieces of gold-tone hardware that feature on the front and are evocative of a face.

With its adjustable shoulder strap, you can wear yours cross-body or over the shoulder. Inside it is fitted with a single central compartment and a patch pocket. It closes with an invisible magnetic fastening. The brass hardware and the carabiners are plated with three microns of gold.

Leather and Care 

Crafted from grained calfskin leather, sourced from France. This classic grained leather, often referred to as Epsom leather, comes directly from the Drôme region in France- an area known for its fertile lands, high-quality tanneries and magnificent castles! Strong and durable, it will face every challenge without batting an eye.

To ensure it lasts a lifetime (or more), clean only as necessary with a soft and neutral leather care product.

Editor's note

Named for its small size, the Munchkin is the latest addition to the Golden Eyes range and features the same signature gold-tone hardware that is so evocative of a face.

Featuring both a handle and an adjustable shoulder strap, which clips on to the handle with two carabiners, you can wear yours cross-body or over the shoulder.

Inside, it is fitted with a single central compartment and a patch pocket. It closes with a magnetic fastening. The brass hardware has been plated with three microns of gold.

A bovine leather of Italian origin, suede leather has a soft feel and a velvety appearance. More supple than the smooth or grained calfskin used in our permanent collection, it needs to be carefully maintained for an optimal lifespan.

The Tiny Five is the miniature version of the Low Five bag. Though very compact, it’s still roomy enough to hold a large smartphone. Inspired by the “Veckla” vase designed by Swedish artist Stig Lindberg for the ceramics manufacturer Gustavberg in the 1940’s, the Tiny Five has an oval base, a closable interior pouch, and four side pockets.

Leather and care

Crafted from Box Calf leather, sourced from Ardèche in France. This classic chrome-tanned leather comes straight from a renowned tannery in Annonay. Initially developed by a French shoemaker famous for his moccasins, this robust leather is now in such demand that it’s become almost impossible to source—luckily, RSVP has an inside man.

Full-grained and delicately pigmented, it is sensitive to the touch and knocks of everyday life and thus demands special attention. Overtime, it will develop a rich patina that will give it a unique look and feel. In our humble opinion: it’s a timeless essential. You’ll keep it for years, if not decades.

The Low-Five bucket bag was inspired by the ‘Veckla’ vase, designed by the Swedish artist Stig Lindberg for the ceramics manufacturer Gustavsberg in the 1940s. It's designed with Italian suede on the outside, and lined with sueded microfiber fabric on the inside.

The design features four side pockets and a large central compartment. With its adjustable shoulder strap, you can wear yours cross-body or over the shoulder. The main compartment fastens with a drawstring.
