crafted from box calf leather, sourced from ardèche in france. this classic chrome-tanned leather comes straight from a renowned tannery in annonay. initially developed by a french shoemaker famous for his moccasins, this robust leather is now in such demand that it's become almost impossible to source- luckily, rsvp has an inside man.

full-grained and delicately pigmented, it is sensitive to the touch and knocks of everyday life and thus demands special attention. overtime, it will develop a unique look and feel. in our humble opinion : it's a timeless essential. you'll keep it for years, if not decades.

nappa is a full-grain, chrome-tanned italian calf leather. smooth in appearance and supple to the touch, it is highly resistant to scratches thanks to its lightly pigmented finish. it requires minimal care, clean occasionally using a neutral leather care product with soft cloth.

the golden eyes is our iconic design from our very first collection. it was so named for the two pieces of gold-tone hardware that feature on the front and are evocative of a face.

with its adjustable shoulder strap, you can wear yours cross-body or over the shoulder. inside it is fitted with a single central compartment and a patch pocket. it closes with an invisible magnetic fastening. the brass hardware and the carabiners are plated with three microns of gold.
